Sharing experiences, learning, broadening horizons, establishing new contacts, strengthening unity – these are the goals of the Lithuanian Soroptimist Union, which will be pursued with the help of the European Union's ERASMUS+ program project "Improving Digital Competences with ERASMUS+".

The project started on October 1 this year and will last for 13 months, until October 31, 2025.

A total of €40,576 has been allocated to achieve the project's goal of strengthening the general and digital skills of the members of the Lithuanian Soroptimist Union by adopting the experience of EU countries.

Twenty representatives of the Lithuanian Soroptimist Union will participate in training, courses, and job shadowing in Malta, Italy, and France. The women will strengthen their digital literacy skills and understanding through education and training tools, learn about teaching methods used in adult education organizations in EU countries, and share their experiences. improve their foreign language skills through digital education, and gain new knowledge and experience in developing the Union's internationalization strategy.

This November, eight union members will attend training in Malta, and next spring, seven union club members will participate in planned work observations in Italy and five in France.

Project participants will be issued with Europass Mobility documents as proof of their international experience in lifelong learning programs.
